Electroacupuncture enhances rehabilitation

Electroacupunture(EA) relieves stroke symptoms as concluded by a new study,  Zhao H conducted a randomized controlled trial on rats and concluded that electroacupuncture improvements neurological deficit. The neurological deficit and histopathological improvements and activation of astrocytes were observed after EA at acupoints PC6(Neiguan).

Another study also has shown EA enhanced recovery of neurological function, decreased cerebral IV and increased HIF-1α expression in ischaemic rats.
